Fourteenth Annual Brewster Art Exhibit Co-Sponsored by the Brewster Cultural Council and the Brewster Ladies Library in the Library Auditorium
When: Tuesday, April 5 – Friday, April 29, 2022. The work will be on view in the Library Auditorium during Library hours.
Artists from Brewster are invited to submit work.
Artists may submit up to 2 pieces on a first come, first served basis. Size Limit: Three (3) feet by two (2) feet, framed and wired for hanging. Dimensional works are acceptable so long as they can be readily hung on the Auditorium walls.
Application Deadlines:
Application forms will be available at the Brewster Ladies’ Library, Town Hall and the Council on Aging as well as on the Library and Town Hall websites beginning March 1, 2022.
Applications must be returned to the Library by March 15 (as long as spots are available). There is a limited amount of wall hanging space so don’t wait to apply.
Sale of Work: Work submitted will be for sale unless the artist indicates otherwise on the application. Buyers should purchase the artwork through the Library. Sales tax will be added and a ten percent (10%) donation from the sale price shall go to the Library. Should the purchaser opt to take the sold piece prior to the end of the show, the artist may replace the sold piece with another of equal dimension.
Other Dates: Art delivery date will be Saturday, April 2 from 10-1; pickup Saturday, April 30 from 10-1.
Reception: There will be no Artist’s Reception due to Covid restrictions. If those restrictions change by the time of the Exhibit, artists will be notified.
